How It Works

The hybrid design intelligently combines two proven heat-rejection mechanisms, automatically switching modes to match ambient conditions and load requirements.

Dry Mode -- Sensible Heat Rejection

In cool ambient conditions, the unit operates purely as a dry cooler. Warm process fluid flows through the finned coil; ambient air passes over the fins and carries away heat without any water consumption. Zero water use, zero plume.

Wet Mode -- Evaporative Cooling

When ambient temperature rises or higher cooling capacity is needed, the spray system activates. Water is distributed over the coil surface; evaporation dramatically increases heat transfer, achieving outlet temperatures close to the wet-bulb temperature.

Hybrid Mode -- Intelligent Combination

The control system continuously monitors ambient conditions and process load. It blends dry and wet operation proportionally -- maximising energy efficiency, minimising water usage, and eliminating visible vapour plume for regulatory compliance.

Closed-Circuit Design -- Clean Process Fluid

The process fluid circulates inside a sealed coil at all times and never contacts the spray water or ambient air. This eliminates contamination, scale build-up, and biological risk within the process loop, protecting heat exchangers and downstream equipment.
